Some moments feel like they’re written in the stars. Alex and Logan’s Cannon Beach proposal was one of those moments—emotional, magical, and filled with the kind of light you don’t easily forget.
A Surprise Proposal at Cannon Beach, Oregon
After six years together, Alex planned the ultimate surprise: a heartfelt proposal at Cannon Beach, one of Oregon’s most iconic coastal spots. He booked a stunning Airbnb near Tillamook, pulled together a dreamy setup, and told Logan it was just a casual photo session.
Since they’re both TikTok creators, being photographed didn’t raise any red flags.
We met up on the quieter north end of Cannon Beach, where Cannon Beach Party Rentals helped create a cozy, romantic scene—blankets, pillows, champagne, and Polaroids of the couple strung up in the salty breeze.

The Moment: A Queer Cannon Beach Proposal Full of Emotion
With Logan turned away, I hit play on “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol—their song—and Alex got down on one knee.
Logan turned around, saw Alex holding a ring from Holden Rings (a queer-owned wedding ring company), and instantly teared up. It was the kind of proposal moment that hits you right in the chest. Raw. Real. Beautiful.

The Sky Literally Opened Up
After the proposal, we popped champagne and soaked in the magic of the moment. The skies cracked open, letting dramatic sun rays pour down in every direction. Logan felt like it was his grandma reaching out—a quiet blessing from beyond. That emotional energy lingered in the air the entire evening.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get more surreal, a herd of bull elk appeared near Haystack Rock. We kept a safe distance, but captured some unforgettable photos. It felt like nature itself was blessing this proposal at Cannon Beach.

Alex + Logan’s Story: A Love 6+ Years in the Making
Alex and Logan met on Tinder and have been together ever since. They live in Indiana, work at the same company, and spend their downtime lifting at the gym or going to EDM shows.
Their love is a mix of deep connection and sweet traditions — like how Logan brings home cold Sprite and blue corn chips for Alex every Wednesday.
Here’s what they said about their journey:
Alex: “Before Logan, I was lonely and unsure of my path. With him, my story began.”
Logan: “Alex came into my life at the perfect moment. I don’t know where I’d be without him.”
