I just had to tell you about this amazing experience I had recently as a photographer. So, picture this – the day after this couple’s epic all-day elopement adventure in The Black Hills and Badlands National Park, we decided to take things up a notch and meet at their cozy Airbnb for a steamy and intimate couples boudoir session. It was like something out of a movie!
When S reached out to me, she expressed her deep desire to have their love story immortalized against the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Northwest. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to make their wish come true. After presenting S with various options, we settled on a combination that had always held a special place in my heart. The plan was to start our adventure in Smith River, California, where they had booked a delightful Airbnb.
To make the most of their full-day photography package, E + T decided to start early. I picked them up from their Airbnb just before sunrise, and together we drove into Joshua Tree National Park. The sky was just starting to illuminate with the first hints of light as we arrived at Arch Rock. The couple stood beneath the majestic arch, and I instantly began capturing magical moments.
So, you want to self-solemnize huh? I’ve got you covered! First off, let’s define self-solemnization as the act of officiating your own wedding ceremony, without the need for a third-party officiant or religious leader. When A + C approached me about capturing their love story, they expressed their desire for a breathtaking engagement session. They yearned for a session that would transition from the warmth of the setting sun to the mesmerizing beauty of a star-studded night sky. Intrigued, I took a moment to reveal an unexpected aspect of my photography background — astrophotography. I shared some of my previous work, and they were super excited!

If you’re considering eloping in Oregon, you’re in luck – Oregon offers a beautiful and diverse range of landscapes, from rugged coastline to forested mountains to rolling hills, making it a fantastic place […]
When I + B reached out to me about doing an unconventional couples boudoir photo session in a cabin in the woods, I was all in and they brought their a-game. It was sexy, fun, and very very gay.
I met this awesome couple, let’s call them A + R, at the parking lot for their July elopement. And let me tell you, they were one adventure-loving duo! We were originally planning to drive up to Artist Point, but unfortunately, a rockslide had closed the road. No worries though, because we decided to hike up instead.
Well, it’s been a hot minute since I last posted here! 2019 was an incredible year, and easily one of the most profoundly transformative years of my life this far. SO much happened in 2019 that blogging about what was happening was put on the back burner. Now that I have a little down time […]
Christy and Brandon’s engagement session started with a two-hour car ride across Northern Utah from Ogden to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Needless to say, the drive was well worth it.
